"We are delighted to see so many relieved and happy faces this morning as students opened their envelopes.  This cohort have been a pleasure to work with and it is fantastic to see so many of them securing the grades they need to take their next steps in their education.  I would like to thank all of the students and their parents for their hard work, commitment and support of the school. The teaching staff have worked superbly well with the students to support them in their journey through their GCSEs, and the many success stories from today are very much about positive partnerships and relationships been school, staff, parents and our students.  Congratulations to all of the cohort and we look forward to working with so many of you as you move into our sixth form."Malcolm White, Headteacher commented, GCSE Press Release August 2024

Given the uneven impact of the pandemic on school and college performance data, the government has said you should not make direct comparisons between the performance data for 1 school or college and another, or to data from previous years.

The students have worked incredibly hard and they have been supported by our superb teachers, our pastoral support team and futures advisors.  We are really proud of the work we do to make sure that each individual is going on to study the right pathway to pursue their development.  The school has seen an increase in student numbers and it has been fantastic working with each individual as they have developed over the past two years.  We wish all of them every success as they start their life after Leventhorpe.”
