Super Curriculum

At Leventhorpe we encourage our Sixth Form students to take part in 'Super Curricular' activities that take them beyond the taught curriculum in the subjects that they are studying. 

The range of 'super curricular' activities is huge and many are free and easily accessible.  With the internet, students have plenty of opportunity to go that extra mile and show their passion for the subject they are planning to study at university.

We encourage students to keep a record of such activites and the impact of the activity on their existing knowledge about the subject, how it has developed their thinking or knowledge, any skills developed and so on.

Super-curricular activity can help to build a case to support a student's university application.
