From apart to together: An art exhibition of distinct perspectives

On Wednesday, 9th July 2025, our extremely talented Year 12 Art & Photography students treated us to an evening exhibition of their A Level Artwork so far this year.

Organised entirely by the students themselves, posters advertised the event which included a gallery guide, while the Art Room was transformed into a gallery.  Music, drinks and nibbles gave the evening a true gallery vibe as guests were invited to spend time viewing and discussing the work on display.

It was wonderful to see the variety of media, styles and ideas, as well as each student's individuality and talent.  It was clear to see that this group of young people not only love their subject, but they also work hard at it and work well as a team.  Under the direction of the Art Department, they are encouraged to explore their own passions and skills, to discover new influences and techniques and develop new ways of working that bring out the best of their creativity.

A huge well done to the following students and keep up the amazing work!

Michalina Biala, Olivia Cannon, Sarah Farhan, Sophia Pavett, Ava Rawson, Jemima Smith, Olivia Southward and Constantia Xenofontos
