WOW!  What a day we had for LevFest 2025!  Now in its 6^th year, our sports and music fundraising festival was another huge success!  Beginning with our House parade, the field was a sea of colour as each house walked out in turn with the reigning champions, Moore House, proudly carrying the trophy across the field to cheers and applause from the crowds.

And so commenced our inter-house sports day, the final, big event after weeks of inter-house sports competitions, each House working together to gain points to add to their total in the competition to win the prestigious Sports Cup.  The weather was kind to us whilst both track and field events took place simultaneously over our extensive sports field and dance and music performances on the stage entertained the crowds who enjoyed the cream teas and BBQ on offer.

Our new Sixth Form Communications committee launched the school's new Instagram account @thisisleventhorpe, and our LevTimes reporters interviewed our special guest Josh Dean MP, and we even took to the airwaves with our very own call sign GB5LEV for the day as local amateur radio enthusiasts helped students to broadcast live and make contact with countries all over the world!

Once all of the sports events had taken place and the points tallied, the whole school waited with baited breath for the final results and whilst Rivers House won the shield for the overall number of House Points over the school year it was Moore House who were victorious winning the Sports Day Cup for the second year in a row!

With the sporting activities making way for our talented musicians, the day took on even more of a festival vibe with performances from our various student and function bands who showed us what they're made of and rocked the afternoon away!

LevFest began in 2018 when the idea to combine our annual Sports Day with a music festival on the field was born and this year we welcomed approximately 1000 visitors.  By involving our parents and carers in the celebrations of our students' incredible sporting and musical talents, LevFest has become a real highlight of the school year and embodies what it is to be part of our wonderful school community.
