Today, our very own maths teacher, Mr Andy Kitson, represented Great Britain at the Age Group World Aquathlon Championships in Samorin, Slovakia and finished in an amazing 10th place in the 45-49 age group!

An aqualthlon involves a 1000m (1km) swim - this one time down the Danube!) followed by a 5000m (5km) run.  A huge well done to Mr Kitson for such an amazing achievement and proving that commitment lasts long after you have finished school!
 
Next month, he will be travelling to Bilbao, Spain to race at the European Aquathlon Championships so we will be wishing him the best of luck in that - keep us posted!
