Sixth Form Student Bursary

Free School Meals and Additional Post-16 Bursary

The Post-16 bursary is a small fund that the school holds to support stuents with the expenses related to their education in the Sixth Form.  We are confident that the fund will offer another level of financial support for those students who receive Free School Meals.

If you claim and qualify for Free School Meals at Leventhorpe and are studying in the Sixth Form, further funding to pay for any school-related expenses (trips, transport, uniform, equipment, etc.). may be available on application.  Each application will be dependent upon criteria being met.

If you do not claim Free School Meals but your family income is below £25,000 before tax, then you may still qualify for a lower bursary, also available on application and reviewd on its own merit.
