Becoming a Digital Parent – Workshop on Monday 9th May

Published on 14 April 2016

Are you up to date with the latest social media apps?
Are you certain that your son/daughter is protecting their identity online?
Are your children safe in the ever changing world of social media?
Do you know the meaning of terms such as ‘Griefing’, ‘Chatroulette’, ‘Sexting’ or ‘Whisper’?

We would like to invite you to a Parent Workshop looking at E Safety. The particular focus will be on developing a greater understanding of mobile devices and the ever changing ways that your son/daughter can use them. The workshop will be led by Julia Bateson, a Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Ambassador, eSafety blog writer and a mum. Julia was shortlisted as a TalkTalk Digital Hero for
Internet Safety 2015.

To help with organising seating and refreshments would you please let us know if you would like to attend by emailing Mrs Burrell.
