The whole school community should be very proud of themselves. In one of the first full inspections under the new 2012 framework Ofsted inspectors judged the school as outstanding in all areas.

Overall Effectiveness                  Grade 1 Outstanding

Achievement of Pupils                Grade 1 Outstanding

Quality of Teaching                     Grade 1 Outstanding

Behaviour and Safety of Pupils   Grade 1 Outstanding

Leadership and Management     Grade 1 Outstanding

In summary, the inspection report describes Leventhorpe as an "outstanding school with an outstanding sixth form."

Headteacher Jon Locke commented on the report.

"In essence, inspectors were incredibly impressed with our students in every respect.  We are delighted with the report as it clearly recognises the outstanding work of students, staff, governors and parents.  However we know that we are not perfect and still have many areas where we can further improve.  I can assure parents, students and staff that this report and its judgements make me even more determined to strive for Leventhorpe to be the best we can be".
